Here's what we've been up to...

July 5th, we decided to go hiking and sadly we only found some kind of cattle trail. Next time we might ask someone from around here about where to go. It was fun anyway and a pretty drive.

Jon's got a son. July 8th, Jon and Henry at Aunt Suzie's and Uncle Doug's home. We are very grateful to them for letting us crash at there beautiful home until we could find an apartment here.

July 9th, We signed a lease for a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment just minutes from jon's work. It is at the end of a residental neighborhood and near a couple of main streets. We are excited to be in our own place again. After signing, we took Henry to his 2 week well baby check-up. He grew 1/4" in length from birth and went from 6 pounds 4 ounces at his four day weight check to 7 pounds 5 ounces. He is filling out some and changing everyday.

July 10th, we moved in our beds and a few other things.

July 12th, Happy Anniversary to us. To celebrate our anniversary, we enjoyed a quiet dinner after our girls went to bed. Jon makes a mean sloppy joe. We have been through quite a few "adventures" together these past 8 years. We have both grown in many ways. I wonder what the next eight years will bring...

July 13th, Henry at 2 1/2 weeks.

July 14th, Maren as an indian princess and Eliza "the princess".

Thanks to living so close to some wonderful and willing family, we were able to get the rest of our furniture into our place. A couple hours of help saved Jon many trips back and forth on his own. Which means, more time with his family before he goes off to the acadamy. Wahoo!

The first 6 days.

At the hospital, Maren couldn't get enough of her brother.
Henry sure is a handsome boy, but then again I am partial.Back at Suzie and Doug's home... Look at those chicken legs.
Henry and his mom.
At his weight check today he weighed 6 lb and 4 oz...down 5 oz, but not bad. He is a little Jaundice, but not bad. Didn't even cry durring his little "snip, snip" procedure. What a brave, healthy boy.
To say his sister's love him is an understatement.
Maren and Eliza decided to try and pick him up today when my back was turned. No falls, but still scared me. Maren and I settled on laying by him.
Maren took this picture. Oh, how I love my kids!

Even with my sisters gone for Grandpa's funeral in Illinois, we have had tons of help and are doing very well. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and help.

Henry Roy Robbins

Henry Roy Robbins arrived at 3:58 pm on June 25th. He weighed in at 6 lb 9 oz and is 20 1/4inches long. Everything went well with delivery. His sisters adore him. Every time Eliza sees him or he makes a noise she exclaims "He likes me!"

We are all glad Henry is out of his mommy's tummy.
